Abstract

A little-known work of H. S. Ayvazov «Esaret Kurbanlary (Ebeveynlere ibret)" (Victims of captivity; Lesson to the parents), was presented to the attention of readers in the Baku magazine called «Fuyuzat» in 1907. This narration discusses the problems of women and the position of women in Crimean Tatar society in the 19th century and the subjects such as slavery, women's rights are emphasized. The aim of this article is determining the importance of this work in the history of Crimean Literature in the 19th century
