Abstract

Nava'i, whose works were sent to Turkic countries while he was still alive; was read admiringly; nazires were written to his poems and dictionaries were written to be read and understood his works, is a person who has been shown the same interest since the sixteenth century. The influence of Nava'i on Ottoman poets has been the subject of various studies, and scientists have considered and evaluated the subject from various aspects. In this study, studies on Ali Shir Nava'i and his works in Turkey are collected under various titles and identification tags of these studies are given. Studies as master's and doctoral theses, articles, articles translated from dialects, articles translated from foreign languages, papers, books and translated books are listed in an alphabetical order. When the studies are examined, it is seen that the theses are related to the field of language and literature except for a few, and more language work is done on the text. It is noteworthy that the works of Ali Shir Nava'i are evaluated from quite different aspects in the articles and notifications, and also it is tried to make determinations about his personality traits and his period. The information in those publications are brief and introductory and they do not contain any text translations to Turkish or have glossary and index of Nava'i's works. Most of the publications on diwans and mathnawis are only translations of the text in translation. Some of the other publications contain transcripted texts, their translations to Turkish, glossary, index and facsimile.
