Abstract

As a guided literature, Turkish children's literature in Yugoslavia has frequently studied or dealt with socialism / communism, the values and ideals of it. Therefore, reminiscent of socialism/communism symbols such as "partisan" and "pioneer" are frequently seen in children's poems and stories. The aim of this study is to explain the ways in which Turkish children's literature in Yugoslavia is influenced by Yugoslavian children's literature, and to show the projections of the common values and symbols in Turkish children's literature in Yugoslavia. The texts examined were Sevinç, Tomurcuk and Kuş magazines, which were formed by the Turkish children's literature in the period of the former Yugoslavia and the poetry and story books of the poets and writers who also wrote in the mentioned magazines from Nova Makedoniya Publisher, the main publication organ of these magazines. Poetry books written by İlhami Emin, Fahri Ali, Şükrü Ramo and Nusret Dişo Ülkü were also examined. The "partisan" symbol was mentioned in the repetitive features of the works of children's literature of Yugoslavia, and the same features have been determined on the works of Turkish children's literature in Yugoslavia. The study focuses on the texts between 1945 and 1992 because of the examined "partisan" symbol. Texts were examined by author or readers -oriented analysis. This review was linked to a general conclusion.
