Abstract

In this study, a Tuvan folk tale which is thirtennth story in the book "Ösküs Ool" containing many other Tuvan stories, has been translated Turkish. It has been given the information that in 1959, Baybu Kombu Cürün had listened this story from Salçak Biçen Naadın-Hööyevna who is the story teller in Bay-Tayga area. In first part the story has been transcribed from Kiril alphabet. After that the story has been translated to Turkish in second part. Finally, in the part of dictionary the word has been analyzed in terms of context even though how many times it is written in the text. The words which are undergone a voice change has been marked in parenthesis
