Abstract
Manner of action is evaluated as an ingressive, a continuative and egressive meanings of the verbs. The topic of this article concerns the manner of action (Ger. Aktionsart) of verbs and suffixes of Kazakh language. Manner of action may occur with phasal phrases, such as inherent phase, the initial and the final one. This term is covered in Kazakh language by the terms such as sıypat (aspect), amaldıŋ ötüw sıypatı kategoriyası 'the aspect meaning of the action'. Most of Kazakh grammar books use statal or final phases, but some of grammar books present the initial phase of action. categories. Generally, the manner of action of verbs in Turkish are analyzed according their inherent, the initial and the final phases. The main point of this paper is the suffixes of Kazakh language, which occur as a manner of action of verb. Futhermore, the manner of action of verbs and suffixes were analyzed in two group categories.
