Abstract

Musa Celil, poet, writer, actor, interpreter is one of the most important face in the Soviet Tatar literature. His life started in Orenburg in 1906 and ended tragically in one of the Holocaust in 1944. He did many things within the short period of his life, besides his political tasks such as a member of party and komsomol he also contributed significally to some art and cultural organization such as Tatar opera and Writers Union of Tatarstan. From poems till libretto, he wrote a wide range of literary genre. Moabit Notebooks which were written in Celil's captivity, crown his literary life. In this paper, life of Musa Celil and his literary personality will be mentioned and the Moabit Notebooks particularly will be examined
