Abstract
Sibgat Hekim is one of the most widely-recognized name in XX. century Tatar literature. In this article, Sibgat Hekim, his position in Tatar literature, his poems, his literary personality and the characteristics of the language of his poems are introduced and some examples are given. In his poems, Sibgat Hekim is a poet who carries on the traditions of A.Tukay, H. Tufan. It also has been frequently refers to A. Tukay and H. Tufan themes in his poems
