Aim

The Turkish World Journal of Language and Literature aims to increase and share knowledge both nationally and internationally by publishing scientific articles that contribute to the fields of contemporary Turkic written languages, dialects, and literatures, as well as translation studies and comparative literature. The journal provides an open-access academic platform where researchers in the fields of philology, linguistics, social, and human sciences, from both within and outside Turkey, can share and disseminate their findings on contemporary and historical issues of interest to a broad readership.

Scope

The Turkish World Journal of Language and Literature publishes scientific studies on contemporary and historical aspects of modern Turkic written languages, dialects, and literatures. The journal also includes articles related to translation studies and comparative literature.

The journal is published biannually (March, October) in both print and electronic formats.

The journal’s audience is composed of researchers, students, and professionals from related academic institutions and organizations.

The primary publication language of the journal is Turkish. However, the Editorial Board may also include scientific articles written in modern Turkic written languages as well as English, German, French, and Russian. All published articles include Turkish and English titles, author and institution information, funding disclosures if applicable, and keywords. The text of all articles and references are formatted using Latin letters to facilitate computer reading.
